Do you guys do bulk buy discount?

Orders over AUD$500.00 will receive free postage Australia wide (excluding rods and sinkers).

However we are happy to accommodate such requests in any way we can. If you are planning on making a bulk buy, please email us at sales@fishonproshop.com.au.

Coupons?

Coupons can be either gift vouchers or discount vouchers. Gift vouchers can only be purchased from Fish On Pro Shop, which can be done via our online shopping cart system, using our standard payment methods.

Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from date of purchase. If you purchase a gift voucher, we can either send it to yourself or the recipient named on the shipping address free of charge.

How do I redeem my gift voucher or discount voucher?

Gift vouchers can be redeemed during the check out process, where there will be a box to enter the code on your gift voucher (coupon code). Once your gift voucher (coupon) code is entered, click the update box. This will automatically update your invoice information. If you do not use up your entire gift voucher in a single transaction we will send you a credit note for our store for the remaining balance.

Discount vouchers (coupons) are redeemed the same way as gift vouchers (coupons), where there will be a box for you to enter the code of the voucher during the check out process.

How does your buy 4 jigs get the 5th free promotion work?

If you purchase 4 or more squid jigs, you are entitled to 1 free jig of your choice provided it is of equal or lesser value of the cheapest jig purchased.

To redeem this offer you must specify what jig and colour you would like in the comments box during check out. If no jig is specified in the comments box, you will not qualify for the promotion.

This promotion is only valid when advertised on our home page flash banner or during certain email promotions, and can't be used with any other offer.

What is included in the postage cost?

Fish On Pro Shop use Australia Post to deliver 90% of our consignments, the rest are delivered through Australian Air Express, Star Track and DHL Express for international orders.

All orders are wrapped in such a way that it will not get damaged during transit, generally bubble wrap and a box will be used. Each order is sent as either a registered post item and/ or with a tracking number which is vital to make sure no consignments go missing, which can make both parties unhappy. If you wish to have your consignment posted in a prepaid satchel unregistered to reduce the postage cost please email sales@fishonproshop.com.au prior to making your order. However please note Fish On Pro Shop can not be liable for missing consignments should they be sent unregistered.

Larger items such as rods are sent through Australian Air Express/ Star Track, or DHL Express for international orders. These consignments are also registered/ sign on delivery with a traceable consignment number.

What does Pre-Order mean?

Pre-Order means that we do not have the item in stock, however they may be readily available to us. If you order an item which is Pre-Order we will contact you should there be any problems, however we will usually be able to dispatch within 48hrs. Occasionally our suppliers may be out of stock of the item which is under Pre-Order, in which case we will notify you of such an event within 24 hours.

We generally recommend that if an item is Pre-Order, you email us at sales@fishonproshop.com.au prior to placing your order.

Rod postage?

Rod postage is AUD$15 Australia wide through Australian Air Express/ Star Track. All rods are bubble wraped and placed in pvc tubes for postage, we find we can fit about 3 rods in a tube. Typically rod postage is around $30 due to its long shape, which makes its cubic volume outweigh the actual weight of the rod. Fish On Pro Shop will subsidise 50% of the postage cost to make is $15 per rod.

Ice box postage?

All ice boxes differ in size, shape and weight, please email sales@fishonproshop.com.au us for a postage quote and availability prior to making an order.

Squid gaff maintenance?

Squid gaffs are manufactured to fine tolerances to ensure they open and close correctly. Regular maintenance is vital to ensure the correct functioning of the telescopic tubing and moving parts.

Upon receiving your gaff, check it thoroughly for any manufacturers defects. Extend the gaff, close it, check the barb crown is opening and closing properly. If there are any faults contact us immediately to inform us of the fault. We will discuss with you if it is required to be sent back.

Your gaff is rated for a working load limit of 2kg (direct vertical force). Do not attempt to lift objects diagonally or from side to side.

After use, it is very important to wash your gaff down with fresh water. Make sure you extend the gaff fully to wash off any salt from the extendable sections. Once dry give the barb crown assembly a quick once over spray with Inox or WD-40. By not washing your gaff with fresh water salt inhibition will stop the proper functioning of your gaff as salt crystals will block the fine tolerances between each extendable section. This will not constitute a warranty should your gaff cease up.

Squid gaff warranty?

The telescopic gaffs we stock at Fish On Pro Shop are manufactured to the highest quality and standards. When you first receive your gaff, you should inspect it prior to use in salt water to see if it freely opens and closes as well as inspecting it for any manufacturers faults. If there are any problems with your gaff at this stage contact us immediately. Remember these gaffs are manufactured to fine tolerances to ensure they open and close correctly, regular maintenance is vital!

If your gaff is in good working order when you receive it, then it is highly unlikely that it will be a manufacturers fault. If it is not opening and closing properly, 9 Times out of 10 the problem with the gaff will be salt inhibition due to poor maintenance from not properly washing down the gaff in fresh water after every use. If this is the case you will not qualify for a warranty as a warranty will only cover you if there is a manufacturers fault in your gaff.

All telescopic squid gaffs we sell have a maximum vertical working load limit of 2kg, and are very weak with lateral loading. If you lift a load on an angle you will compromise the structural integrity of the telescopic tubing on your gaff. If your gaff snaps or cracks in this instance it is highly unlikely you will qualify for a warranty as a warranty will only cover you if there is a manufacturers fault in your gaff, not improper use. If your gaff was in good order when you received it, it is highly probable that it is not a manufacturers fault.
