Delivery Policy

Fish On Pro Shop will ship products to any location within Australia and to most international locations. We use Australia Post, Australian Air Express, Star Track and DHL Express International to deliver our products to your home or place of business within 2 to 10 working days (longer if international).

Customers will need to provide an email address, day time delivery address and contact phone number including area code. While we make every effort to deliver by this time, all dates specified are estimates only. Our courier partners believe they will always do their best to deliver products by their estimated delivery date, which is what we specify.

In addition, it is the customer's responsibility to enter the correct delivery address details, when placing an order. Should you enter the wrong address, Fish On Pro Shop is not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.

If you are not home when your order arrives, your products will be taken to the nearest Post Office, and a card will be left in your letter box to notify you that your products are at your local Post Office and are ready to be picked up. It is the customer's responsibility to collect the product within 7 days, if after 7 days your products have not been picked up, they will be returned to Fish On Pro Shop. If the product is sent back to Fish On Pro Shop because it has not been picked up from the post office, and you wish for us to resend to you, we will have to charge the delivery fee again.

Our main carrier for dispatching our goods is within Australia is Australia post. We send all items in either pre-paid satchels or as registered post items with signature on delivery. For items over 1m in length (such as rods) we use Australian Air Express/ Star Track which has an extensive tracking system as well as signature on delivery.

Postage costs vary according to size and weight of your goods, along with the location and date the goods are required. Please rest assure we try to use the cheapest and most effective means of transport available to ship our goods to you.

As a guide only freight charges are as follows:

Australia Post registered post:
Under 500gm is $8.50 Australia wide. Over 500gm charges vary according to size, weight, and postcode.

Australia Post express sachel:
Under 500gm $10.55. 3kg satchel $14.80. 5kg satchel $23.60.

Australian Air Express/ Star Track:
Items over 5kg requiring express postage will be sent through Australian Air express/ Star Track. Charges vary according to size weight and postcode.

All fishing rods will be sent via Australian Air express/ Star Track which will incur a flat fee of $30.00. This includes PVC tube for transport and shipping for any other items purchased.

  • Example 1:
    You purchase 1 fishing rod. Freight = $30.00.
  • Example 2:
    You purchase 3 fishing rods. Freight = $30.00.
  • Example 3:
    You purchase 3 fishing rods and 5 lures. Freight = $30.00.
  • Example 4:
    You purchase no rods and 5 lures which weigh a total under 500gm. Freight = $6.95.

Unforseen supply problems or unexpected demand may occasionally result in stock being unavailable. Should there be a delay or problem in despatching your order we will contact you immediately to advise you of the reason for the delay. You may cancel such an order at any time prior to shipment for a full refund.

International airmail orders are only traceable to the point where they have left Australia. The delivery of these orders is subsequently reliant on overseas postal services. Fish On Pro Shop will provide as much assistance as possible in tracing misdirected items but cannot be responsible for items lost by overseas postal services. When we quote on International postage we highly recommend the use of registered international post, express international post or DHL express international, as they all have comprehensive tracking and signature on delivery.

Please note that if an item has been lost in transit, we will not despatch a replacement item immediately. Replacement items will be despatched once we can determine what has happened with the previous order.

As a guide only, our domestic couriers deliver to business and home addresses between 9am and 5pm. Unfortunately, we are unable to give a guaranteed specific time of delivery.

Please feel free to email us details of the products you require prior to ordering for a quoted freight amount or to request a quote for special shipping such as International Courier including insurance. We are happy to accommodate such requests.
